Application Process

American colleges and universities have three intakes, unlike Nepalese universities, which only have one. An intake is also known as a semester at some universities. There are three ways to enter the United States of America:

Autumn: Autumn is a popular intake among Nepalese students, and it starts in September.

Spring: Starts in January; try to avoid the September intake if at all possible.

Summer: This intake is available for a limited number of programs and colleges; the Summer intake typically begins in May.

Course Costing

Students are paid between $5.15 and $15 per hour in on-campus jobs. During the academic year, students from Nepal and other countries are allowed to work 20 hours per week and 40 hours per week during the summer.
While a minimum bank balance is not required to apply for a student visa in the United States from India, the F-1 student visa costs approximately $500 USD. The SEVIS I-901 charge ($350) and the DS-160 form fee ($160) are split into two sections.
